Pretty Pretty Peony

Good Afternoon.  Today I am beginning a 15 in 15.  Seems a bit more realistic as the weather is so beautiful any given hour of the day.  My friend Haley came over and we picked a postcard of a painting and painted our own picture.  The card is a painting by Raoul Dufy "la vie en rose" 1931.  My painting became "pretty pretty peony" 2013.  It is 11 x 14 acrylic on canvas.

HOUSE #1

Good morning.  I have been in the studio working on houses.  This one is collage, stenciled, paint, transfer, stamps and lots of love.  More are coming.  Welcome #1.

It is Wednesday and I am almost ready to go to Cannon Beach for the 2013 spring unveiling.  I wanted to make a bright splash in Josephine's window so I painted this dress in corals and oranges.  It actually makes me want to dance.
