New Paintings at Santa Fe, Convergence Gallery

This spring brought bright colors to my studio.
I even added a little gold leafing to the roses.
 The painting is 30" x 40".

I spent time wanting to make doll houses
and the most I did was purchase this little french maisonette.
It was really more fun to paint. 24" x 30"

I think a manor house in the south of France might be fun.
In the meantime I can paint them. 30" x 36"

I always return to the Paris balcony.
Perhaps to return again soon.  30" x 40"

Roses for My Sister Tracy

My long stem white roses just came in and I needed to paint them.  While doing so, I was remembering when I asked my sister Tracy how to paint roses.  We bought a picture book and she said start practicing.  Thank you dear sister.  I am going to paint these daily and perhaps by the end they will be the white they really are.

She is always with me . . .

Good end of January to you all.  In the middle of winter I sometimes get a little gray and I need to remember that there is someone who watches over me and is always with me.  And, I am in love with corals and roses.  I painted her a couple of weeks ago and want to share her joy.

Large Women

Good September to you all.  I just posted my 2008 large women collection on etsy.  It is the first time I have put them to print.  I still have two and a dear friend Teri has two I can visit; oh and Cheryl in San Diego takes good care of one also. They come from her garden resides in Silverton, I think.  They were my first attempt at drawing full pictures of women.  I am almost ready to try again. Here are the two of them.

Oh my goodness, what if they pick me.

She twirls until she falls down and giggles

Good morning.  It has been too long since I posted.  Had a few shows, painted a few more pictures and all of a sudden it feels like fall.  We have been buying school items for Parker (my grandson's) kindergarten class.
So, this week I spent time in the studio (supposedly cleaning it) and voila, this painting showed up.  I am enjoying the layers.  Hope you do to.  It is 24 x 36".  My name is Bonnie Taylor Talbot and ipaintpictures.

Pretty Pretty Peony

Good Afternoon.  Today I am beginning a 15 in 15.  Seems a bit more realistic as the weather is so beautiful any given hour of the day.  My friend Haley came over and we picked a postcard of a painting and painted our own picture.  The card is a painting by Raoul Dufy "la vie en rose" 1931.  My painting became "pretty pretty peony" 2013.  It is 11 x 14 acrylic on canvas.

Enjoy!

Good morning.  I have been in the studio working on houses.  This one is collage, stenciled, paint, transfer, stamps and lots of love.  More are coming.  Welcome #1.
