Painting in the Rain

Entertaining is delightful when the plates do not match.

I like the idea that the flowers come right through the window to decorate the table. 

This is a fun one for me to be painting.

Two Red Chairs

Two Red Chairs (or the colour of the moment)

I am still working on interior paintings.  These chairs are my all time second favorite next to the Paris park chairs I love so much.  I don't think they will end up red; but who knows.

Saturday Class

We all got together in my studio at 9am on Saturday; Teri, Angie, Paula & Kiki.

The first order of business, after the coffee, tea and apple cake,

was to create a collage as a way to warm up.  We worked on these until noon.

After lunch we started painting a Tuscan landscape.

It is always amazing to me when I get the opportunity
to play art with women who have never or only a few times
painted and they create such amazing pieces.
I hope they all end up on their walls.

The next class is April 9, 2011.
